| Brookline Community Church 2012 Vacation Bible School March 2012 Dear Parents: Summer is the perfect time to go on vacation. Get ready for exciting wilderness thrills as you head out to beautiful SonRise National Park! Kids will be awestruck by snow-capped mountains, thundering waterfalls, wildflower meadows bursting with color, and amazing animals like soaring eagles, friendly huskies, and herds of caribou. As kids explore SonRise National Park, they’ll learn the most important survival skill of all: they can always depend on Jesus and His promises of true peace, true riches, true power, true love, and true hope! At SonRise National Park, kids will learn to trust Jesus as their all- powerful guide and Savior! We plan on transforming the Brookline Community Church into SonRise National Park for Vacation Bible School. This year it will be held Sunday, June 24th – Thursday, June 28th (9AM-Noon each day). So sign up your child(ren) today and ask their friends to come too! We need to pre-register all participants. The registration and release forms are posted on the church Website. Please complete and return them ASAP so we can start to plan. In order for us to ensure we have adequate staffing and supplies we need all registrations will by June 8th. Vacation Bible School can be an inspirational and educational adventure for your whole family. Volunteers are what make this program possible. Please consider sharing your time and talents as a very rewarding experience for yourself as well as the kids. Volunteer Registration Forms are posted on the church website. Please fill out and turn in as soon as possible. I have been volunteering for the last few years and get just as much out of the VBS experience as my children! Once again, the program will begin on Sunday--June 24th and the children are encouraged to sign in between 8:45 – 8:55 am each day to begin at 9:00 am each day. We will end at 12:00 noon. Family members are welcome to join us for any part of the program, but we extend a special invitation to join us for our ending musical program on Thursday, June 28th. Sheryl Ellis is joining us as Co-VBS Director along with Jen Coutu. We are looking forward to a wonderful week of sharing the fun, the music and the Bible study with your children!
